Beenzino has responded to the shoddy production quality of his limited edition '12' 5th-anniversary vinyl record, in a personal address to his fans via his Instagram. His current music label BANA (Beast And Natives Alike) has also come forward to apologise for the inconvenience caused to fans.
The artist and his agency have promised to produce a brand new batch of Yellow version discs with improvements to its cover sleeve design, complimentary for all 1,000 fans who have purchased the vinyl records.

We announce that all 1,000 copies of Beenzino's '12' 5th anniversary vinyl records will be produced again.
We've faced several delays from the vinyl record manufacturer in Germany due to the extended COVID-19 safe distancing measures there. This is also the manufacturer's very first time with such an order. We were unable to solve technical issues in the colour vinyl production caused by the local restrictions in place. As a result, during the inspection of the 1,000 vinyl record copies that arrived in July, the production quality of all 800 copies (to be sold online) was not satisfactory. Despite so, we still wanted to deliver as per schedule. As per the previous notice, we decided to change all colour vinyl record orders to the Black version which had absolutely no technical issues, and to additionally produce sticker sets.
However, knowing that we've put the fans who've purchased the vinyl record through delays and a sudden change to the vinyl's colour, we wanted to return with a response as final and exact as possible. Unfortunately, it took us some time to review all aspects of it - from our detailed plans to reimburse fans to legal matters like getting compensated by the German manufacturer for the damages caused.
Also, we only learnt about the quality problems of the 200 vinyl records first sold at Hyundai Card VINYL & PLASTIC after it became an issue online, as we did not receive any enquiries regarding its quality or the exchange policy. All this while, we've been accepting and handling enquiries regarding the product through the various record stores. Every vinyl record was inspected once, but we've definitely secured extra copies for exchange in the case of any defective vinyl records. Despite so, we deeply apologise for the inconvenience caused by our delayed understanding of these issues.
We planned for this to commemorate Beenzino '12' full-length album's 5th anniversary with fans, but we are disappointed and sorry that we couldn't repay the fans' passionate support towards the vinyl record. So, we've decided to start from scratch and produce all 1,000 Beenzino '12' vinyl records again, complimentary for fans who have purchased the vinyl record.
All 1,000 copies of the new vinyl records will be produced in the Yellow version, and its cover sleeve will look different to increase its collection value. We've also chosen another manufacturer for this reproduction. We are unable to announce the expected delivery date at this stage, but it should take 3 to 4 months in total. Once we can confirm the delivery schedule, we will issue a definite update to existing record stores.

It took us some time to consider several things and make decisions, so I am truly sorry for this.
In conclusion, we will produce the vinyl records again. All 1,000 copies will be the Yellow version, and we've changed up the cover sleeve design a little. We will be giving this out to all who have purchased the disappointing vinyl records. We'll try to increase its collection value.
